30 November 2018 - I'm currently developing an evolution simulator with limited god game elements as my final year project. What you see above is the world that has been generated from a heightmap of the planet, each pixel represents an area with variables such as temperature and vegetation that will affect how the species in that area will evolve. I expect to have the project completed by the end of April.
14 November 2018 - Using the assets created for the PlayStation VR game: the Chantry, I created an Android VR application that is a companion to the Edward Jenner Museum that the PSVR game is based on. Use either the 2D or VR modes to view the museum as it was after the death of Edward Jenner in 1823, and while you're at the museum use the Museum Mode so the application will automatically change to the room you're currently in.
2 April 2019 - This prototype is a space racing game where you use the gravitational pull of planetary objects to sling yourself around, hitting checkpoints and setting time trial scores. More about the base game can be found here. This post will be talking about the implementation of a neural network that uses machine learning to play the game.
22 December 2018 - This is an infinite runner where you try to avoid oncoming traffic to get the highest score possible by surviving longer and collecting pickups. The core infinite running mechanics are all implemented, I would hope to expand the game by adding different hazards that add a new and diverse challenge to the game, as well as other collectables that would give you unique abilities.
12 October 2018 - This presentation piece of work demonstrates my abilities in C++ using DirectX 11 to create a 3D representation of Britain from the input of a height map. This piece of work was originally an assignment which I have modified and added to for an improved and different output.
2 March 2018 - This prototype, that was made in Unity using C#, is a space racing game where you use the gravitational pull of planetary objects to sling yourself around, hitting checkpoints and setting time trial scores. Mechanics such as gravitational pull from the planetary objects, and pointing and clicking to thrust your spaceship into that direction is working well using Unity rigidbody velocity and vector Maths.
10 November 2017 - This is a 2D puzzle game where you simply need to get from A to B. There will be multiple different objects and obstacles the player will face that will make achieving that goal increasingly difficult. So far I have pushable wooden crates as well as pressure plates that open trap doors and regular doors. I have a very fast and easy way to create and generate levels using a map created in Photoshop that I then input to generate levels out of my objects; this combined with a wall auto-detection system makes the level generation, iteration and testing, quick and easy to make a large number of high-quality levels.
19 May 2017 - This is my end of year DirectX group project I created in my second year of University. A puzzle game where you have to race against the clock to reach the end of the level while collecting all collectables.
7 April 2017 - This is a flexible and expansive website created for a local steel business that required that the website be data-driven so they could easily expand the site themselves with their ever-growing list of products and projects they've undertaken.
22 October 2016 - This prototype is a take on Chess where you have a set amount of points to spend on pieces instead of having a standard Chessboard, with these points you can spend them on regular or unique Chess pieces with special abilities. This brings a lot more variety to your playstyle and unpredictability from the opponent you will face.
22 October 2016 - A windows application created for an insolvency practitioner to keep track of boxes put into storage, how long they've been in storage and how much they're owed by each client.
30 June 2016 - This website, that includes a blogging and brochure distribution system, I created for Outsauce Group Ltd. Their website has since been redeveloped.
4 October 2015 - I created this and another website with a similar look and feel for the same company to cover multiple areas of financing.
